With Jim over for our Uncle Robert’s funeral, we took the opportunity to visit the FAA Museum at Yeovilton. Knowing that the photography would be difficult, particularly in the Carrier display with its low light levels and orange lighting, we took our tripods and prepared to use some of the techniques that Jim learned on his recent photographic trip to Temora.
The combination of tripod, bracketed exposure times and image sharpening produced some great results; certainly better than I have achieved before at Yeovilton, as shown in the gallery below.
